60 people join Restore’s latest training course

We’ve been delighted to welcome 60 participants to our autumn awareness raising and training course.  This was the largest number we’ve ever had on a course!   We adapted our  training material for Zoom and developed some new resources for that format.

It’s not the same as meeting face-to-face but we are extremely encouraged that in these challenging times more people want to make a positive response to refugees and asylum seekers.   Staff and participants were hugely grateful to the volunteer and refugee who joined us to share their experiences of befriending and the asylum application process.

If you would like to receive details of our next course, which will be in 2021, please email
