Family activities

Family Trip to Snibston Discovery Centre

Restore organises day trips for refugee and asylum seeker families during school holidays, which offer recreational activities that many parents could not afford, give opportunity for families to get out of inner city Birmingham and build new friendships and support networks. This reduces the isolation of children and parents, promotes their mental and physical well-being and enhances socialisation.

In 2018 we hope to facilitate 7 activities.  We had 2 events in early January including a trip to see 101 Dalmations at The Rep, following the generous donation of tickets by The Rep.

The Restore Parent and Toddler Group  meets near Five Ways (Ladywood) once every two weeks in school term-time for refugee and asylum seeking families with pre-school children.
