What we do

Restore mentoring

We are grateful to our team of volunteers who have joined us for ‘Equipping Refugees for Work’ (ER4W) our employability training course.  Volunteers have facilitated small group discussions and offered one-to-one mentoring support.   This training restarts in September 2018 .

Some befrienders can have a mentoring type role if they are matched to a refugee who is seeking employment. This may involve a range of activities: some help to edit CVs and job application forms, others accompany a refugee on their first visit to a Job Club and one has helped his mentee in the process of becoming self-employed.
